Homework Assistant - Hendon (Starting January 2024)

Thursdays from 4.15pm - 6.15pm - £15.00 per hour

The Homework Club is to teach the children how to become independent students and set them up with good study habits and techniques to aid concentration so that once they no longer attend the club, they will be able to transfer these skills to independent learning at home.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Plan and coordinate weekly Homework Club sessions for children in Years 3-6. 

• Develop a structured curriculum focused on study skills, homework content, and fostering independent learning. 

• Provide support to children during the club sessions, assisting with homework and study skills. 

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program in achieving its objectives. 

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to enhance students' engagement and concentration. 

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees during Homework Club sessions

An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
