Support Worker - Adults with Learning Disabilities

Stanmore - Full Time - 36 hours per week

Salary -  £11.50 per hour 

Norwood is the UK’s oldest Jewish charity supporting vulnerable children and their families, children with special educational needs and people with learning disabilities and autism. 

At Norwood, we deliver wide-ranging services including residential and supported living accommodation, short-breaks facilities, a range of therapeutic services including occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and psychotherapy, as well as a range of support groups aimed at the whole family, not just the individual. 

We are currently recruiting full time Support Workers to join our residential and supported living services who are looking for a unique and varied role that makes a huge difference in the lives and wellbeing of the people we support. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team which empowers young adults to make choices, manage risk and live a meaningful life. Through true person-centred and active support, you will help people be as independent as possible, treating them as equals, ensuring that they remain in control of their lives.
