Job Title: Senior Estates Manager

Accountable to: Assistant Director of Property and Facilities

Salary:  £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience

Location: Stanmore (with travel to other Norwood properties across North London and Ravenswood)

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Contract: 6-month fixed term contract

Purpose of the role:

As the Estates Manager, you’ll be responsible for the effective management and mobilisation of Norwood’s new Facilities Management contracts. Your role will ensure that our environments are safe, functional, and welcoming for staff, visitors, and our residents. This role is critical to supporting our mission, as it involves upholding high standards across our facilities, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. 

 

Essential skills/ experience:

  • A relevant facilities management qualification or equivalent experience
  • A background in residential and commercial facilities management
  • Strong knowledge of technical, engineering and facilities management best practices
  • Soft FM and Hard FM tendering and mobilisation experience
  • Budgetary management experience
  • Good organisational and leadership capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical thinker
