Senior Support Worker - Adults with Learning Disabilities, Supported Living

Edgware - Full Time

The purpose of this role is to oversee the delivery of care and support within the home to ensure high quality of service provided. To assist the Manager in the day to day running of services for Adults with Learning Disabilities and other needs. To lead the team delivering a person-centred service through Active Support with a commitment to Lifelong Learning and independence for all

The ideal candidate must be a great communicator, work well within a team and have strong time management and leadership skills. Skills and Experience required:

• Experience in Care and Support of Adults with Learning Disabilities
• Experience in person centred planning and risk assessment
• QCF Level 3 or NVQ 3 or willingness to work towards a relevant care qualification
• Knowledge of current legislation
• Excellent leadership skills
• Effective communicator
